Q: Is there a maximum length for the press release?
A: We recommend keeping your release to one page which is standard in the industry.
Q: What size and format should videos be provided in?
A: Videos should be provided as a link, such as YouTube. There is no maximum size.
Q: What size and format should photos be provided in?
A: Formats can be JPEG, GIF, or PNG. Maximum size of a photo is 2MB. We allow for 1 photo which is embedded in the release and 1 banner image that promotes the article in other parts of the site.
Q: How long does it take to get the PR out once submitted?
A: We require a minimum of 72 hours before the event so that we can get your release out in time. PR's can take up to 5 business days, depending on quantity. For the most part, we expect a 72 hour turnaround.
Q: What if my release is denied?
A: If the PR was denied, we will credit you the credits back, explain why it was denied and you will then be able to restructure your PR to get better results.
Q: Can we get a list of outlets the PR was sent to?
A: No, however, we can send a sample of some of the outlets your PR was sent to.
Q: How do we track our release stats?
A: This information will be mailed to you via email once we get the stats from our release. Please keep in mind that we do not guarantee the release will be published by any media outlets, we send the information to them and it is up to them at that point.
Q: How do you know where the Press Release was sent?
A: The Press Release will give you an option for where you'd like your release to go and what interest category you would like it to go to. That being said, You, the user and creator of the press release determines where it goes.
Q: How do I get a new password?
A: If you forgot your password, on the login page, there is a tab marked Reset Now. Click on that tab and an email should be sent to you for you to get the new password.
Q: How long are the credits valid?
A: The credits are valid until they are used. They do not expire once you have made your purchase.
Q: How do I purchase credits?
A: Log in to your V-Services homepage. Click on the Purchase Services tab, then click new service. Scroll down to V-Newswire and chose the package you would like to purchase.
Q: Where are the prices located?
A: The prices are there in the form of credits. Once you click on Submit Release, you will see the prices for each release option. Remember, each credit is worth $1.
Q: How do I redeem my certificate?
A: The answer should be: : Log in to V-Newswire and click on My Releases and then Redeem Certificate. Then just click on the certificate you want to redeem and you are ready to go.
