Miss Photomodel.ca 2012 Contest Rules

1. General Rules

1.1 The 'Miss Photomodel.ca 2012 Contest' (hereafter referred to only as 'the contest')  ends on December 21, 2012

1.2 The contest is organized by Umbrella Hi-Tech Corporation (hereafter referred to only as 'the organizer)

1.3 The contest is open to females of any nationality. Minimum age for participation is 18.

1.4 This is a remote Internet contest.

1.5 The official website for the contest is: www.photomodel.ca

1.6 The prize fund will consist 50% of all contributions and advertisement revenue. The prize fund will be divided between the winners in the 3:2:1 ratio.  

 For example; fund of $30,000 dollars would be distributed between first three places as follows:

• 1st place - Miss Photomodel.ca 2012 - $15,000*
• 2nd Place - $10,000*
• 3rd Place - $5,000*

2. Registration Rules

2.1 Registration is only possible through the official website.

2.2 Registration is open to participants till December  21, 2012

2.3 Contest administration deserves the right to deny participation if misinformation is suspected. No reasons for the denial will be given.

2.4 Participants/ Models may apply for casting calls and communicate with recruiters

3. Profile Requirements

3.1 Profile must contain the participant’s full name

3.2 All relevant details on the profile form must be filled in by participants. We will not accept empty profiles.

3.3 A minimum of 5 photographs must be added to the Album profile

      3.3.1 All photographs must be a minimum of 500 x 500 pixels

      3.3.2 All photographs must be in jpg, jpeg, png or gif formats

      3.3.3 Photograph size should not exceed 2 Mb

      3.3.4 Collages are prohibited

      3.3.5 Photographs of poor quality will not be accepted

      3.3.6 Use of photographs containing logos and/ or

              trademarks and direct/ indirect advertising - including,

              though not limited to: social networks, photographers,

              photo studios and/ or brand names - is strictly

              prohibited

      3.3.7 No photographs involving third parties may be posted

              on profiles. Only participant's images are permitted

      3.3.8 Photos may be changed during the period of the

              contest under the condition that uploading

              requirements are continually adhered to

3.4 Creating more than one profile per participant or registering profiles for third parties is prohibited

3.5 After profiles have been approved by moderators, participants' profiles will be displayed on the official contest website.

4. Voting Rules

4.1 Voting will commence with the publication of profiles

4.2 Voting will be performed by registered website visitor 

5. Decision on Winners

5.1 Voting is carried out via a transparent Internet-voting process. Winners will be determined according to the final result of voting.

5.2 Winning nominations are subject to the voting results and will be awarded as follows:

• 1st Prize - Miss Photomodel.ca 2012
• 2nd Prize - 2nd Runner-up
• 3rd Prize - 3rd Runner-up

5.3 The organizer reserves the right to request provision of information on promotion website resources of participants. Withholding of such information may result in the participant's profile being blocked.

6. Award Procedure.  

6.1 Voting results will be published for a total duration of 10 days after the contest.

6.2 The winning participant agrees to:

• Participate in interviews to be used for TV, radio and other mass media broadcasts.
• The organizer using her photographs for future advertising purposes
• The organizer using her name for future advertising purposes without additional payments

6.3 The organizer reserves copyrights for advertising materials created using the above.

6.4 The winner will provide documents confirming her identity. Failure to provide these documents or discrepancies between ID and profile will result in the winner forfeiting the right to the prize.

7. Virtual Gold Coins

7. 1. Photo Model registered on our website will earn one Virtual Gold Coin for each vote. 

         Virtual Gold Coins are reward points earned when Model receives a vote in the  www.photomodel.ca Online Contest.

         Virtual Gold Coins will be redeemable at the end of 2012 contest:  December 22, 2012 till December 31, 2012  

7. 2. Virtual Gold Coins could be donated to any Charity of Model’s choice.

          One Virtual Gold Coin will be redeemed for 0.90 Canadian Cents.

7. 3. Virtual Gold Coins could be used for goods and services available through our sponsors located on www.photomodel.ca

         To be eligible to redeem Virtual Gold Coins for goods and services, Model must enter sponsors website only throughwww.photomodel.ca and make online purchase at that moment.

         Model should e-mail receipt to: contact@photomodel.ca

        1,5 Virtual Gold Coin = $1 Canadian Dollar to be reimbursed to the Model after the online purchase.

         The reimbursement will be send via PayPal to Model’s account.

7. 4. Virtual Gold Coins could be exchanged for Canadian Dollars.

          2 Virtual Gold Coins = $1 Canadian Dollar.  

        The reimbursement will be send via PayPal to the Model’s account.

7. 5. Virtual Gold Coins cannot be transferred between accounts or credited to new accounts.

7. 6. Photomodel.ca reserves the right to alter, change, or terminate the program at any time.
